Welcome to who I am & what I do…

Who I work with: I work with people across different life phases, but my primary focus is working with preteens, adolescents, and young adults! If you feel as though you’re filled with anxiety daily, or maybe just want someone to talk to for some additional support, you’ve definitely found your gal. My goal is for you to have a space to show up and be your most authentic self, and I will give that same energy back to you! I see families alongside the younger clients I work with because the growth of the people around you matters too. I also specialize in individuals who are looking to begin their journey in sobriety or are looking to step down to a lesser level of care in their recovery journey. If you’re a person who likes to have some background music playing and enjoys having a therapist who is chill and laid back, I hope to see you in the office soon!

How I work: The basis of my work and practice rests on the belief that you are the expert and curator of your unique life experiences; I simply hope that I can be a stepping-stone along your journey! I see myself as being a collaborative and holistic therapist, meaning I like to look at all of the aspects that make you, you! Whether that be exploring where you were born and raised, the schools you went to, the jobs you’ve worked, or your family dynamics- I see you as more than just a person sitting in my office. With my social work background, I use a systemic and intersectional framework as the basis of my therapy (TL;DR; I see you as all of the unique identities that you come to the table with, with all of your lived experiences, values, and goals).

A bit about me: Outside of session, you can often find me with my nose stuck in a book (or rather, my Kindle) getting the latest BookTok obsession out of my system, or cozied up next to my partner and family members enjoying some quality time watching Georgia Football or snacking on my favorite comfort foods. I am an avid collector of vinyl records, and a firm believer in astrology, and you can often find me listening to my records while drinking my sweet tea and sugar-free Red Bulls (and intermittent sips of water!). My own experiences with anxiety, self-esteem, and navigating the world as a woman drive my love and passion for what I do, and often inform the advocacy and work I do outside of therapy. I absolutely love what I do and I look forward to having the absolute privilege of being a passenger along your narrative to growth and change.
